Welcome, I’m Kristina
I’m a doula in Berlin, a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner, and mama of one.
I offer postpartum and overnight support, infant sleep consultations and Mama* & Baby and Pregnancy Classes.
I’m passionate about supporting families, infant sleep, maternal mental health, and helping women understand and navigate matrescence.
I’ve been in Berlin since 2018 and live with my partner and our young son. As a mom, I understand how beautiful and isolating motherhood can be. I witnessed how vital it is to have a community of support and someone by your side who listens and truly understands what you’re experiencing.
Before becoming a mom and doula, I spent 10 years working with children and a few years as a Customer Experience Manager at a startup. My background in International Relations and 15+ years living abroad has taught me the importance of respect for all cultures, customs and backgrounds - especially during the journey of parenthood.
When I became a mom, I felt isolated being far from family and the first in my Berlin circle to have a baby. Postpartum was overwhelming, and I faced months of breastfeeding struggles and postpartum depression - I felt judged and confused by all the conflicting advice that didn’t match my parenting values.
I’m grateful for my experience as it became my inspiration for becoming a doula and supporting families. I don’t want others to feel like I did - postpartum shouldn’t feel so lonely, and your instincts matter! In many cultures, new families are held and honoured. We may not live in villages anymore, but we can build new ways to support each other.
My motivation is fuelled by my passion and deep understanding of the benefits of heart-centred, nurturing care and support that helps you have a calm, confident, and enjoyable start to parenthood.
My Personal Journey
“Becoming a mother is one of the few experiences in life that really re-makes a woman, that dramatically unsettles her center of gravity. And there is opportunity here, to connect, to collaborate, elucidate new visions, and change the status quo. ”
My Mission & Philosophy
I believe that when parents are nurtured, they raise well-nurtured children, and together, we create a more compassionate world.
But families often lack the support they really need, especially those far from loved ones. Our “villages” have faded, yet society still expects us to do it all alone. The profound transformation into motherhood deserves reverence, not pressure to “bounce back” and stay positive. We have to do better for families.
Mothers deserve to be celebrated, empowered and supported as they reclaim motherhood as the rite of passage it truly is.
Whether you’re a first time or seasoned parent, I’m here to help you thrive and feel heard, confident, and prepared for parenthood.
My Approach
Informed
My care draws on current research in neuroscience, attachment theory, evolutionary biology and lactation science.
Transparent
I’ll always be straight with you so we can build a relationship that’s based on trust. No sugar-coating or fake expert vibes, just honesty.
Intuitive
You know what’s best for you and your baby. I’ll never suggest anything that goes against your instincts or your baby’s cues.
Inclusive
Every identity, background and family structure is welcome. I’m committed to creating a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and respected.
Empathetic
Your emotional & physical needs matter, period. I offer a judgement-free space for all your feelings, the joyful, vulnerable, and messy ones.
Community Building
You weren’t meant to figure this out solo. I’ll connect you with others who get it and help you build your own supportive village.
